William R. Morris, PhD, DAOM, LAc

Will Morris is the president and CEO of the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin (www.aoma.edu). He has a Master’s of Science in Education with a focus on medical education through USC and a PhD in transformative studies from CIIS. His interests are in Chinese medicine and leadership with a focus on personal and collective transformation.Will teaches Chinese pulse diagnosis and moderates the pulse diagnosis Yahoo group with more than 800 people participating world wide. He also founded the web site www.pulsediagnosis.com. Morris has studied pulse diagnosis since 1980, beginning with European five element balancing methods.
Will discovered the compass method and was the first to publish in English on the eight extraordinary vessel and six channel pulse methods of Wang Shuhe. He completed his PhD dissertation, Pulse Diagnosis: Epistemology, Practice and Tradition in 2009. It is a synthesis of conventional, canonical and family lineage forms of practice that is deconstructed in terms of how clinical knowledge is built. |

Paul Abadie, Houston
J.
Paul Abadie is licensed to practice Physical Therapy and
Acupuncture/Herbology in the state of Texas with Master of Science
Degrees in Physical Therapy (Texas Woman’s University ’91) and Oriental
Medicine (American College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine
’03). He is a Diplomate in Acupuncture, Herbology, and
Oriental
Medicine certified by the National Certification Commission for
Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Mr. Abadie
is a
qualified manual therapist for spine and extremities and is skilled in
Asian Bodywork. He has practiced in the Houston/Galveston
area
for the past 15 years. He is director of an integrated
wellness
clinic -- the Memorial Hermann Prevention & Rehabilitation
Center
in Downtown Houston. He holds a faculty position at Houston’s
American College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine where he
mentors and trains interns and lectures on acupuncture and western
sciences.

Cathy
Liu, Houston
Dr.
Cathy Liu studied medicine
which includes western and Chinese medicine from Chengdu University
of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. After receiving her medical
degree in 1982, she had intern, residency training, and fellowship
with well known doctors of TCM in
Sichuan
Province Hospital. Afterwards she spent several years doing
clinic research, practicing, and teaching Chinese
medicine before coming to the US.
Dr. Cathy Liu is a licensed
acupuncturist in The State Of Texas. She is a former executive board
director of Texas Association of Acupuncture and Orental Medicine.
She has been an active member of TAAOM since
1992.
She has
been practicing acupuncture,
Chinese herbal medicine and nutrition as well as
preventional therapy for female and male, children
and
elderly ,acute and chronic problems for over 26 years. |

Betsy Lu LAc

Chia-Li "Bettsy" Lu is a national certified, Texas licensed acupuncturist operating the Yin & Yang Clinic in Houston, Texas. She received her Master degree in acupuncture and oriental medicine from the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is an active member of several local charity groups. | Tam Khat Thai, Brenham
Acupuncture
to Dr. Tam Khai Thai is as natural as his second skin. He learned the
essentials of ACUPUNCTURE from a family tradition that had been
passed-on from generations to generation. At a tender age of nine, his
first teacher was his paternal grandmother, who practiced Oriental
Medicine in Vietnam. He then had four other teachers/mentors, who
refined his skills not just in acupuncture but also in martial arts.
He
was one of the few pioneer acupuncturists licensed in Texas. When the
American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (“ACAOM”) opened
in Houston, Dr. Tam Khai Thai was one of the original professors. Aside
from being a current board member, he had been a former board member
and treasurer of TAAOM in its formative years. Nationally, he is also a
concurrent active member of the American Association of Acupuncture and
Oriental Medicine (AAAOM).
Today he operates two
clinics: one located in Brenham and another in Conroe. These clinics
had been established since 1985. All these years, his specialty also
covers acupuncture treatment for horses with his ardent partner Dr.
James Brown, DVM in Brenham, TX. |
Wally Doggett
Wally
Doggett is a graduate of the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin
(2004). He is co-owner of South Austin Community Acupuncture, a
sliding scale community acupuncture clinic committed to providing
affordable, quality alternative health care. In addition to
his
studies at AOMA, Wally apprenticed with senior herbalist Wu Peirong
and acupuncturists Allen Cline and James Phillips at Turtle Dragon
Health Services in Austin.

Mei-Fun Liu Tsai , LAc, Houston
Dr. Mei-Fun Liu Tsai is a diplomat in Acupuncture, Herbology, and Oriental Medicine, certifiedby the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She graduated in 1996 from the American College of Acupunctureand Oriental Medicine and has beeb licensed to practice in the State ofTexas since 1997. In 2004, she received her Ph.D. degree from the American Liberty University. Currently, she continues to expand her knowledge of Western Medicine in pain management, and new advances in Eastern Medicine. Dr. Tsai practices Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal medicine, and nutrition by serving the community, and helping children, adults, and the elderly with acute and chronic issues. Dr. Tsai always promotes the benefits of acupuncture to the general public. She has given several interviews on Fox 26 News, the Houston Chronicle, and lectures to various organizations.

Leslie Graham, M.S., D.C., L.Ac.
Dr.
Graham received her B.S. from the University of California in 1978,
her M.S. from Texas
A&M University in 1983, her Doctorate in Chi
ropract ic f r om Te x a s Ch i r o p r a c t i c College in 1991,
and her M.S. in Oriental Medicine in 2002 from the American College
of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist
via the Texas Board of Medical Examiners and is nationally certified
by the NCCAOM in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, and Oriental
Medicine. She has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles
while working at Baylor College of Medicine and has been an adjunct
faculty member at the American College of Acupuncture &
Oriental
Medicine (ACAOM) in Houston since 2003. She has her own practice in
Clear Lake, TX and runs the ACAOM extension clinics at the Southeast
Memorial Hospital and University of Houston Clear Lake sites. Dr.
Graham is also a student and teacher of the martial arts with over 26
years experience in the Daoist art of Wu Jia Tai Chi (qi) Chuan and
Won Hop Loong Chuan.
